The web is a strange place. But what I’ve always loved is the fact that people build sites about things that can seem really esoteric, but that also serve as being inspirational and a great reference. Case in point: The Art of the Title Sequence.
As you may have guessed, this site highlights awesome title sequences from all sorts of movies and TV shows. Beyond just providing videos, they have interviews and background information on how the title sequences were created or how they came about.
My favourites? Well, since you asked, here are a few (I haven’t been through all of them yet): Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Météo+, Six Feet Under, William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet and (of course) The Incredibles.
